The four of us are ABM researchers in ecology and management. We share the vision of establishing agent-based modeling as succesfull research method for theory development. We are convinced that agent-based modeling is the perspective you need to understand complex adaptive systems. The way forward is to join forces across disciplines and to work together to enhance ABM research towards this direction.
